Two whole years have flown by with Sebastian manning the helm of ‘rowdy little boy’. He’s been an absolute joy of course and only misbehaves when a nap and a snack have been missed… shee-yeah.

He had quinoa and black beans for dinner… he didn’t eat them.
He had cake and whip cream that Maggie made from scratch… he didn’t eat them.
Instead, he decided to have Maggie keep relighting the candle so he could blow them out.
“Is hot”… “Mas”… “pooooof”…. “bye, bye hot.”
- Happy Birthday Sebastian.

This has got to be the most gentle looking shot of a baby boy. Sebastian loves his blanket and likes to just hang out and lounge in the mornings.

We needed a flash for better indoor shots with the D40 and went with the SB-400. It’s incredible. No diffuser needed, no adjust lighting.
Here’s a closeup of the earflap hat that Maggie knitted. He loves wearing it of course and gets all the ‘he’s so cute!’ comments and looks form everyone at the stores.
This is also one of the first photos we’ve taken with the Nikon D40 we got recently. The depth of field is incredible.

Here’s a few pictures of Sebastian modeling his new hat that I knit. I never thought I would be knitting but I really enjoyed making this hat, mostly because it knitted up fast and I loved the yarn colors. I used a free earflap hat pattern from here. Sebastian also liked it, such a little ham:

I don’t know how much cuter a little boy can get. seriously. This is to dang cute. Who thought up putting little babies in animal and flower and vegetable costumes. million dollar idea right there.

We took a visit down to the local pumpkin patch again this year. I don’t think he remembers us laying his floppy baby body on mounds of various squash and pumpkins. He did enjoy the time though.

This was also his first time to ride a horse. A guy with some little corona horses was there giving rides. We got some video we’ll have to put up later. He was like a little cowboy.

This photo captures so many expressions. It’s one of those photos you just barely catch as something happens. He was standing up as I was moving to get a better angle and I snapped it as Maggie caught his attention. perfect.

So, Sebastian is 14 months old and he’s starting to do a lot more signs and say a lot more words and we wanted to get a list of everything down. What he picks up amazes us. It’s usually the food items that come the quickest.
All the words he understands he will point to.

Here’s another incredible photo of Sebastian and Maggie. He loves the flowers and is usually pulling the petals off instead of smelling them. These were tickling his nose.

Our little man is growing fast, he’s now almost 14 months. Here’s a somewhat recent picture of him - doesn’t he look so big?
