Today is an amazing day. Sebastian has turned one year old. We had his birthday on Saturday and a bunch of the family came over, Grandma Davis, Aunt Lori and Uncle Bryant, Aunt Patsy and Uncle Stu. We’ve been trying to teach Sebastian some table manners during his meals. We tried to teach him to say yes by nodding his head, or by saying “more” in sign language, or to say “si”, but somehow he has decided that squinting his eyes accompanied by some odd squeaking means “YES”.

This is my first piece of art in a while and the first time I’m entering something in Illustration Friday

It’s a robot.. taking a photo. I did it with watercolor pencils. I like those things.

This year has been incredibly amazing in so many incredibly amazing ways.

For one, we had… A BABY… Sebastian Alexander Mings… yes that is half the alphabet in there. Born July 30th, 2006

We also didn’t travel this year and made our family come to us… cause we have a baby, c’mon!


Maximo rolled in poop… again.

and we’re still working on our house. two years just isn’t enough. we need to push this thing out at least a couple more. It’s paying off though, some of the walls have actual paint on them… instead of no paint.

We also had our 6 year anninversary (see post below)… yeah, and we had a baby, did we mention that?

Today was our six year anniversary. We had pizza, onion rings and red wine… for lunch. It was awesome. It does not seem like 6 years at all, especially this year with a brand spankin’ new baby and a brand spankin’ new Christmas tree. a lethal combination…oh yeah.

So, there is this web browser based on Firefox, but… it makes it super easy and fun to Blog stuff, share pics, read feeds. I never thought I would like something like that but now I’m wanting to blog alot more. I posted this by just right clicking in the browser… nice.
