We’ve been trying to teach Sebastian some table manners during his meals. We tried to teach him to say yes by nodding his head, or by saying “more” in sign language, or to say “si”, but somehow he has decided that squinting his eyes accompanied by some odd squeaking means “YES”.
Here he is saying “YES”
The weekend is here and I meant to put up some pictures of last weekend. We cooked 18 quarts of chili…yes 18 for the chili cook-off at the church. We took Sebastian along- he was part of our table decor ;). He wore the Fire Station Chief hat.

This was Sebastian’s first long trip and his first time to meet some of his family. He loved every minute of all the attention he received. He is a lucky little boy to have such a wonderful family. He did miss meeting a lot of other family members but he will be making another trip back soon
Here’s some pictures of his visit.
Sebastian and I went to Tulsa’s Linneaus Teaching Garden with our wonderful friends Connie, Kierlee, Daniel, and Joanna, Callyn, and Brianna. I wish I could show pictures of all of them, but I was only able to take four pictures before the batteries in my camera just died. It was such bad timing since it was a beautiful day, and the garden is landscaped so beautifully. Here are two pictues of Sebastian.

Connie and I tried to get him to look at the camera, but he didn’t look up once no matter how loud or silly we tried to call him. He just wanted to examine, or eat the daisies. The lighting is a little off, I didn’t have time to mess with the camera settings.
This is my first illustration friday entry…

Yes, this is how Josh and I spend our evenings..

Sebastian has taken to mauling our faces and picking at our eyes, well and pulling our hair. We endearingly call the mauling “kisses”. Anyway Josh came home from work and thought he was just posing for a picture, little did he know I was video taping…..HAHAAHHHHHAAAAAAaaa!!!! You can clearly see Sebastian kissing papa.
How fast do little weeds grow? Take a look below. Picture one -little weed 2 weeks old, Picture two -little weed 7 months old.

In just seven months this little baby is on his way from a sweet “I’ll just lay here and sleep” little weed to a “I’ll go anywhere I please” invade your whole yard kind of weed.
Here’s more 7 month old pictures:

Today was one of those days that naps came easily and long.

Sebastian has really been enjoying the weather these last few days. He’s been able to go on a few walks, and just sit outside and enjoy a fresh breeze.

On this next picture, you see him laughing at maximo running along the fence.

Then he decides he wants to touch the grass…

…except he falls…

He landed flat on his face, poor little kid…maximo did check on him and made sure he was ok while I continued to take pictures…

So cute, he did manage to cough up all the grass that got shoved into his mouth.
Ok, I did pick him immediately after this picture, but he really didn’t hurt himself. He didn’t even cry, and the grass- it might be dry and rough, but it’s really rather fluffy.
Well, well, well… let’s just show you. This is him lounging in his little bear robe after a nice bubble bath…
Forget Baby Depot! This is him perusing the isles at Home depot for some clamps and a wrench to attach the beautiful new sink.
Here’s a picture of the sink before, used as a boat by Sebastian and his best bud Daniel……
and now that it is actually installed and functional!!!!!!!
Finally here’s Sebastian ready for bedtime in his pajamas (they have little power tools printed on them)
Goodnight
