Here is another entry for illustration friday. A fortune is different things to different people, especially robots that have human entrails. Yeah you better believe it. This one has something on it’s hand. He is astounded at the complexity of it and will probably put it in a compartment and look at it occasionally.
We took these a little while back. He was so amazed at the specs of dirt and grass surrounding him. You can really see the look of wonder in his eyes.
That shed in the background will be his plahouse one day. Here’s another one of him fiddling with some dirt. That’s some concentration there. He ate the dirt, spit it out, and then ate it again… and then spit it out.

It’s a robot.. taking a photo. I did it with watercolor pencils. I like those things.

This year has been incredibly amazing in so many incredibly amazing ways.
For one, we had… A BABY… Sebastian Alexander Mings… yes that is half the alphabet in there. Born July 30th, 2006
We also didn’t travel this year and made our family come to us… cause we have a baby, c’mon!
Maximo rolled in poop… again.
and we’re still working on our house. two years just isn’t enough. we need to push this thing out at least a couple more. It’s paying off though, some of the walls have actual paint on them… instead of no paint.
We also had our 6 year anninversary (see post below)… yeah, and we had a baby, did we mention that?
If you are anybody who is anybody and really, truly, deeply care about the internet not being a LAME place to hang out, then you must go here and rock it like I have. rock it very hard and do not be afraid.
So, there is this web browser based on Firefox, but… it makes it super easy and fun to Blog stuff, share pics, read feeds. I never thought I would like something like that but now I’m wanting to blog alot more. I posted this by just right clicking in the browser… nice.
You know why it’s so nifty? cause it’s running on WordPress 2.0.4 with the K2 theme and ZenPhoto with the ZenPress plugin.
The only thing not so nifty is how slow it is, but I’m working on it.
For those who care, this is the first time I’ve used WordPress, so I went with the acclaimed K2 theme so I all I would have to do to customize it is make a stylesheet. A little CSS here, a little CSS there and WHAM! This is what pops out. It’s called Sandy Blue because it’s sandy lookin and blue lookin. I may make it available for download after I fine tune it. Of course you can always rip it out of the source code you sneaky little sneaker you.
Anyway, so it’s slow as winter molasses right now and I’m thinking it’s either 1) the server 2) the theme 3) the plugins 4) or a combination of all three. I’ve disabled all the AJAx stuff in K2, but when you look at the code there’s a bunch of stuff being written to the head. So, I’m gonna mess with it, and see what happens.
